NPL Weld Testing at Local 83

Local 83 members:
NPL will be weld testing at the Hall for the upcoming outage at Holcomb on Monday and Tuesday, December 8-9, 2025. Piping & Equipment usually has this outage but this year it was awarded to NPL. It will be held like a mini–Common Arc. If you are interested, you will have to call before and get setup for the morning and/or afternoon session. NPL will be having all the same weld tests as Common Arc (Tube, Mig, and Stick). If you are interested in weld testing, please contact Trevor Lasswell (660) 525-3509 via text to reserve your spot. If you successfully pass the weld test and get on the job you will be paid an additional 4 hours for your time. Please note: just because you weld test for this contractor, it does not guarantee you a spot on this site. Also, if you are traveling in for the weld test, the Hall will not be covering rooms for this weld testing. We certainly appreciate your attention to this matter.
